The phone is hands down the best phone I've ever owned, I used to be on iPhone from the 4S to the 5S (4years)and decided to leave early this year. Best decision I've made. The phone is so fast, the UI is brilliant and heavily customisable, the camera is amazing quality like having a DSLR in your pocket, features for the phone and the specs sold me completely with the original XZ and this has raised the bar for me entirely.
The physical design is so sleek and beautiful, definitely going to need a case because one scratch on it and it'd be the equivalent of someone smacking your child :') 4k HDR display is crisper than a sip of spring river water. Vibrant display brings the best out of ever photo and video you take or watch, also the dual speakers is genius! Watch a movie on this phone and you'll be completely immersed.
Battery life is very impressive, it can take up to 3 hours to charge from 0%-100% BUT the battery lasts a fairly decent amount of time, I've used 30% of my battery in the last 12 hours which I'm really happy with, in the past my iPhone wouldn't last less than half a day until it was at 15% and I need of charging; some days with a lot of use I'd sometimes charge it twice a day which is insane.
The speaker is very light compared to most portable speakers I've tried, the sound quality is crisp and the extra bass does a decent job of banging out a song along with the light show it puts on is pretty damn cool!
The price is unbelievable! £649 for basically £780 worth of gear is a sure bet that you won't lose on!

(I've been testing the battery since I've had it for the past few weeks, the battery is twice the mAH of the iPhone 6 battery and with background refreshing apps and stamina mode enable I can get about 2 days out of it while using it a few times an hour. The speed charging plug that comes with the phone charges at around 3% per minute so you do the math. The charging from a power bank is considerably slower than from a mains plug but still reasonable. If you're into battery saving hacks you could make the phones batter easily last a day and a half minimum ever listening to music all day. Really impressed with the battery life. Hope all of this helps!

It is May 2022. I've been using this phone since December 2017. It is finally starting to show its age. Don't get me wrong, I've never had a big problem with this phone. The battery life is spectacular, especially when you use the phone as a hotspot. I've put Terrabytes of data through this phone's 4G antenna without ever giving it a break and it has served me loyally.
Camera is great, although is poor compared to newer models in low light conditions, and cannot record video at all during the night due to poor low-light operability of the camera (unless I've set it up wrong).
Ultimately after almost 5 years it's served me well, but I've noticed in the past few months that apps have been freezing or crashing far more frequently than they had been previously. Battery life is still good but cannot compete with what it once was.
All things considered, it's still a good phone, but hasn't received android updates since mid 2019 I believe. App compatibility is still not a problem. Mobile games run good although I can only speak for PUBG Mobile.
There seems to be an issue with maintaining a steady connection to WiFi. It will drop out for no reason whatsoever quite frequently and will occasionally require a manual reconnect. I can't say for sure if it's a software or a hardware issue. This means things like YouTube and mobile games like Clash of Clans can be a pain.
Once again, another weird issue, perhaps only with my specific device is that the selfie camera has a weird issue with the software, where all images have a tiny, almost unnoticeable pink tint to them. Even if you are in a dark room and cover the camera, it will have a purple/pink tint which makes no sense. This issue seems to only happen on Snapchat. Very weird.
Still holds a 5 star review in my opinion.

Love it. Moved from IPhone to android (this phone) and I've never looked back. It's fast, the camera is amazing and the battery genuinely lasts all day. As for the 4k Screen Feature and 960fps slow motion camera... I don't use them. They are a bit of a gimmick in my opinion, but overall it's a great phone.
